Test

this is a test

Some of the iPad 2 accessories

Smart Cover~ I have already made a posting regarding the physical features of the iPad 2 stating the smart cover but I will explain more of what it is.  It attaches magnetically to the side of the device and covers the front. The Smart Cover has three folds, dividing the case into four portions, so it can be maneuvered to create a stand for the tablet. This can be either used to prop the iPad up in a position suitable for typing, or in an upright position for watching video and video calling over FaceTime.

Apple Digital AV Adapter with the iPad 2 that mirrors video output. This adapter allows the user to mirror anything on the iPad 2's screen to a HDTV or any other HDMI-compatible display, in up to 1080p, so that whatever the iPad's user does is viewable to the audience watching on the larger HDMI-compatible display.

The Apple Composite AV Cable allows the iPad or iPad 2 to be connected to any TV or home cinema system to allow Movies and other videos to be watched in stereo sound only on a TV from the iPad or iPad 2. This is achieved by plugging the wires into the composite video and audio plugs in a TV or home cinema system and into the 30-pin connector on the iPad or iPad 2.

The iPad VGA Adapter is designed to allow an iPad or iPad 2 user to connect their iPad to a TV, monitor or any other display that is capable of input using a VGA cable.

The iPad Camera Connection kit is a kit of 2 adapters, one USB and one for SD Cards. They copy the images from an external camera and import them to the iPad. This accessory is compatible with both the iPad and iPad 2 and will even allow photos and videos the be transferred from an iPhone (but not vice versa).

The iPad Power Cord is a 1.8 metres (5.9 ft) power cord that can be used to allow an iPad or iPad 2 to be used whilst on charge as the power cord supplied is too short for this to be easily possible in most circumstances.

The Apple Wireless Keyboard allows the user to type and input text onto various iPad applications. It uses bluetooth technology to connect to the iPad or iPad 2.

*Some Apps that you could download

There are over 90,000 Apps for iPad. Apps on iPad look and feel like nothing you’ve ever experienced. They’re available from the App Store in virtually every category. And more are added every day.

Apps for News: Stay current wherever you go with dynamic apps for iPad and get your hands on all the news that’s fit to tap.

Apps for Education: Put iPad at the head of the class with educational apps that capture the joy of discovery and harness the power of Multi-Touch.

Apps for Entertainment: Whether you want to create new sounds, sketch new sights, or discover the perfect movie for your Friday night, there’s an iPad app to keep you entertained.

Apps for Social Networking: Take the work out of social networking with apps for iPad that help you connect with friends and share your thoughts and experiences quickly and easily.

IPad 2 Browser

Apple claims big gains in the speed and performance of the new iOS browser thanks to the introduction of the Nitro JavaScript engine to the underlying Mobile Safari software. In our testing, we scored a fairly healthy Sunspider number of 2173.1ms (while Google's V8 returned a score of 338). Nothing to freak out about in comparison to the laptop numbers below -- but compare those digits to the iPhone 4 and original iPad running 4.2. Of course, the Motorola Xoom is neck and neck with the iPad 2 in terms of browser performance, which shows that speed is most certainly not Apple's domain alone.

Where to buy an IPad2...

I have a couple of places in mind where you can find an IPad 2 but they are at any electronic stores in your area:

*Apple Store- http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipad/family/ipad?mco=MTY5NjUyMTY

*Best Buy- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Tablets-iPads-E-Readers/iPad/pcmcat209000050007.c?id=pcmcat209000050007&searchresults=1&searchterm=ipad+2

*Radio Shack- http://www.radioshack.com/uc/index.jsp?page=researchLibraryArticle&articleUrl=../graphics/uc/rsk/USContent/HTML/pages/ipad.html&noBc=true

*Amazon- http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?field-keywords=ipad+2&url=search-alias%3Daps

Some Things that Ipad 2 doesn't have

An SD card slot/USB port:
The iPad has largely been positioned by Apple as a companion device to traditional computers. But that doesn't mean people aren't using it for things they'd normally do on a computer, such as plugging in their camera to store, edit, and share photos they've taken on their digital camera. Apple's solution up until this point has been to sell a camera adapter accessory that uses the iPad's 30-pin plug to interface with either an SD memory card, or any USB camera.

4G
And to cap off the list of things that could have made it into the iPad 2 is 4G, the successor to the 3G cellular data networks that promises to bring significantly faster wireless data speeds.

Thunderbolt connectivity
Thunderbolt is Intel's super fast port that debuted just last week. So far, it's only available on Apple's MacBook Pro line, which got a refresh the same day Thunderbolt was formally announced. Thunderbolt promises to bring speeds in excess of USB 3.0, which for something like the iPad could mean dramatically faster sync times when plugging in the device to a computer. That could become a very important feature to have as the storage in the iPad increases, which in the new iPad, it did not.

Physical Features of IPad 2

At 241mm tall, 186mm wide, and 8.6mm thick, the iPad 2 is just a hair smaller than the original iPad and it's thinner than the iPhone 4. It has a curved edge that makes it look a bit more 'space age' and, surprisingly, easier to grasp because you can curve your fingers more easily around the bezel.

Two cameras. And a big hello to facetime for IPad.
You’ll see two cameras on iPad — one on the front and one on the back

IPad smart cover. Designed for IPad. And vice versa.
iPad 2 and the iPad Smart Cover are made for each other. The iPad Smart Cover falls perfectly into place and stays put to protect your iPad screen, yet doesn’t add bulk to its thin, light design. It comes in 10 bright colors — including five in rich, aniline-dyed Italian leather.
